The Journal of the Latin American Socio-cultural Studies of Sport (ALESDE) aims to disseminate the scientific production of Latin America studies in different socio-cultural areas (historical, sociological, anthropological, political, philosophical, economic, ethnographic and other approaches) to investigate the sport in its broader contemporary and polysemic senses.
